Ride, skate, run, or walk! Join us April 28 between 4:00PM and 7:00PM, for the 2023 RIVER RIDE celebrating the 1.4-mile trail section built to connect Middletown to Franklin and the Great Miami River Recreation Trail.
This year's RIVER RIDE is a great way to enjoy cycling along the scenic Great Miami Riverway. These rides are great for individuals, families, scout groups, team building, date night, or exercise.
The Middletown-Franklin connection of the recreation trail is approximately a 3-mile round trip. You ride at your own pace.
First 100 people registered will receive a goodie bag. On-site registration day of the event also available.
- Flyer Trailhead (3801 N Verity Pkwy, Middletown) OR
- Franklin Food Truck Park (20 E. 4th Street, 45005, Franklin).
Staggered start between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. and finish by 7:00 p.m.
After cycling the trail, END your ride at either Middletown or Franklin for an evening of Food Trucks, Family Activities and Live Music.
In Middletown: Activities are located at Jefferson Park, 4301 Lefferson Rd in Middletown, is a 5-mile ride from the Flyer Trailhead. They will have live music from Chuck Evans, a kids activity area presented by the MidPointe Library that includes the Bookmobile, yard games and a craft project, and six food trucks!
In Franklin: Activities are located at Food Truck Park, 20 E. 4th Street in Franklin will officially kick off Food Truck Season. Fourth Street will host live music from Sweeney Rebellion, a vendor fair, kid’s activities and eight food trucks.
Families are welcome - Participants 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
