Event Summary
The Great Miami River Watershed Network is hosting a meeting to help set water priorities to reduce nutrients in our waterways. We are assisting Ohio University who is working with Ohio EPA and stakeholders to update Ohio’s Nutrient Reduction Strategy this year.

You are invited to attend and share your knowledge about successful projects/programs that are reducing both point and nonpoint sources of nutrients in waterways. Additionally we need your input to draft goals and priorities to be included in the plan that will reduce nutrients in our waterways over the next five to ten years.

We’re striving to measure recent success and set priorities for Ohio in relation to the Gulf of Mexico Hypoxia Task Force goals (interim target of a 20% reduction of nitrogen and phosphorus loading by 2025 and 48% reduction by year 2035).
